To this end, a corpus of reader comments published in the two most widely read digital newspapers – El Mundo and El País –was compiled and examined. The analysis considers both negative and positive comments, with the goal of identifying the argumentative strategies employed by users to construct their positions. The findings indicate that digital comments provide a favourable space for the expression and intensification of polarized stances. On the one hand, many strategies reinforce social stigmas and reproduce negative stereotypes associated with the migration of this group. On the other hand, some discursive resources appeal to empathy, solidarity, and integration, promoting a more inclusive and welcoming perspective"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen prispevka je analizirati mehanizme diskurzivne polarizacije v povezavi s tujimi mladoletniki brez spremstva (MENA) v komentarjih španskih spletnih medijev. V ta namen smo zbrali in preučili korpus komentarjev, objavljenih v dveh najvplivnejših španskih dnevnih časopisih: El Mundo in El País. Analiza vključuje tako negativno kot pozitivno naravnane komentarje ter si prizadeva prepoznati argumentacijske strategije, s katerimi uporabniki oblikujejo in utemeljujejo svoja stališča. Ugotovitve kažejo, da spletni komentarji postajajo priročno okolje za izražanje in stopnjevanje polariziranih stališč. Na eni strani se pojavljajo tehnike, ki krepijo družbene stigme in reproducirajo negativne stereotipe glede migracij te skupine, na drugi strani pa se oblikujejo diskurzivni pristopi, ki pozivajo k empatiji, solidarnosti in vključevanju"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los mecanismos de polarización discursiva en torno a los menores extranjeros no acompanados (MENA) en la prensa digital espanola. Para ello, se ha recopilado y examinado un corpus compues-to por comentarios publicados en los dos diarios más populares en Espana: El Mundo y El País. El análisis abarca comentarios de tono tanto negativo como positivo, con el propósito de identificar las estrategias argumentativas em-pleadas por los usuarios para construir sus respectivos posicionamientos. Los resultados muestran que el comentario digital se configura como un espacio propicio para la expresión e intensificación de posturas polarizadas. Por un lado, se observan técnicas que refuerzan estigmas sociales y reproducen estereotipos negativos asociados a la migración de este colectivo.
