The first part discusses violence in interpersonal relations. The second part introduces the work we have already accomplished in the field of preventing adult violence against children and violence among adults. The preventative work included parents, staff and children. An action plan was designed and subsequently amended in order to outline the goals which we have adopted and the activities for sustainable change in confronting violence at the beginning of our journey. Later we describe the realisation of this plan. It has been determined that the attitude of our staff towards violence has changed, they are starting to recognize it and prevent it, the awareness has increased and the interpersonal relations of all the involved in the educational process have improved. How to proceed further is the question posed for the future work focused on relations among co-workers, on communication and actions confronting violence"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen članka je predstaviti delo Vrtca Antona Medveda pri soočanju z nasiljem in spreminjanju odnosa do nasilja. V prvem delu opredeljujemo nasilje v medosebnih odnosih. V drugem delu predstavljamo naše dosedanje delo na področju preprečevanja nasilja odraslih nad otroki ter nasilja med odraslimi. V preventivno delo smo vključili starše, zaposlene in otroke. Oblikovali smo akcijski načrt, ki smo ga dopolnjevali in s katerim predstavljamo cilje, ki smo si jih zastavili, in dejavnosti za trajnostne spremembe pri soočanju z nasiljem na začetku naše poti. V nadaljevanju predstavljamo realizacijo načrta. Ugotavljamo, da se je pri zaposlenih odnos do nasilja spremenil, saj ga prepoznavajo in preprečujejo, da se je povečala senzibilnost zanj in da so se izboljšali medsebojni odnosi vseh vpletenih v vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu.
