The sub-Mediterranean climate of the hinterland is here combined with continental climate, therefore, the characteristics of climate changes slightly differ from the trends along the shore of the Gulf of Trieste. Due to the lesser impact of the sea, the air warming trend is more explicit, especially in spring and summer.
