Therefore, we implemented test diagnostics of physical development and motor efficiency using a random sample of 1,267 students from 23 faculties of the University of Ljubljana. For this purpose, we prepared a battery of 11 measurement tasks that upgrades the compulsory battery of tasks of the primary and secondary school Sports Educational Chart. Moreover, we designed a different organisational model, according to which most measurements were performed autonomously by a sports teacher (over several days) and by students (a student both measured his/her peers and was measured by them). To provide feedback to students, we created a web application and presented them the criteria for assessing the health-related measurement tasks and indexes using a three-level scale: risky for health, borderline, fit. The analysis of the project organisation showed an overall success, as the targeted number of participating students was exceeded, the project was implemented economically and without any major organisational problems. We identified some weaknesses that can serve as opportunities to improve the project. In general, we can establish that the responsiveness of students in those faculties, where physical education was part of the curriculum and where sports teachers actively participated in the project, was higher. The project should be incorporated in the annual work plan of the University of Ljubljana, the University Sports Centre and individual members as well as appropriate information sharing and project promotion agreed upon. Sports halls where students have physical education classes should be appropriately equipped. To enable efficient planning of training, it would be reasonable to implement measurements as early as at the beginning of the academic year. Based on the pilot project's findings, we propose experimental introduction of the system for monitoring the student population's physical fitness. Thus we could assess different organisational solutions in a large sample and establish the actual status of the student population's physical efficiency</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Trendi telesnega in gibalnega razvoja mladostnikov so nam zelo dobro poznani vse do konca srednje šole, po tem obdobju pa kljub zaskrbljujočim medgeneracijskim trendom nimamo relevantnih podatkov. Zato smo poskusno izvedli diagnosticiranje telesnega razvoja in gibalne učinkovitosti na priložnostnem vzorcu 1267 študentov iz 23 fakultet Univerze v Ljubljani. Za ta namen smo pripravili sklop 11 merskih nalog, ki nadgrajuje naloge obvezne podatkovne zbirke Športnovzgojnega kartona v osnovni in srednji šoli. Prav tako smo oblikovali drugačen organizacijski model, po katerem je večina meritev potekala s samostojnim merjenjem športnega pedagoga (v več merilnih dneh) in z vrstniškim merjenjem (študent je hkrati merjenec in merilec). Za posredovanje povratne informacije študentom smo izdelali spletno aplikacijo ter jim prikazali kriterijske ocene z zdravjem povezanih merskih nalog in indeksov na tristopenjski lestvici: za zdravje tvegano, mejno, fit. Analiza organizacije projekta je pokazala, da je bila le-ta na splošno uspešna, saj smo presegli zadani cilj glede števila vključenih študentov, projekt pa smo izpeljali ekonomično in brez večjih organizacijskih težav. Zaznali smo tudi nekatere slabosti, ki predstavljajo priložnost za izboljšave projekta. Na splošno lahko ugotovimo, da je bila odzivnost študentov na fakultetah, kjer se izvaja športna vzgoja in so športni pedagogi dejavno pristopili k projektu, višja. Projekt je treba umestiti v letni delovni načrt Univerze v Ljubljani, Centra za univerzitetni šport in posameznih članic ter se dogovoriti o ustreznem informiranju in promociji projekta. Obvezno je treba ustrezno opremiti športne dvorane, kjer poteka športna vzgoja študentov. Zaradi učinkovitega načrtovanja vadbe bi bilo smiselno, da so meritve takoj na začetku študijskega leta. Na podlagi izsledkov pilotnega projekta predlagamo eksperimentalno uvedbo sistema spremljanja telesnega fitnesa na študentski populaciji.
