In the opinion of the authors, this is the way to check the affects of the forest management measures on the endangered species habitats and facilitates the decisions in renewing the forest management plansPrispevek je praktičen prikaz, kako je mogoče biotsko raznolikost gozdne krajine oceniti s pomočjo metodologije za oceno pomembnosti sestojev za ohranjanje biotske raznolikosti v gozdni krajini, ocene deleža odmrle lesne biomase, režimov motenj po II. svetovni vojni, in nekaterih podatkov iz literature.
