The domination of women in the nursing profession and the numerous challenges faced by the workforce are major concerns. Being a woman, a nurse is responsible not only for her job but also for her family. Irrespective of the calls made for gender equality across the globe, today women still shoulder a greater share of household responsibility. A peculiarity of nursing work is the huge demands put on employees' physical and mental health. They are affected on both the occupational and personal fronts. The journey of a nursing professional is not easy and brings a range of challenges that need to be addressed urgently. This will help dissuade nurses from emigrating to foreign lands and save them from burnout and job turnover. Countries across the globe are reeling under the shortage of nurses and the situation will only worsen if action is not taken in time</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V članku raziskujemo različne vidike poklicnega življenja medicinske sestre. Države po vsem svetu se spoprijemajo s pomanjkanjem medicinskih sester, in če ne bomo pravočasno ukrepali, se bo stanje še poslabšalo</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-NO3DDKE6"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-NO3DDKE6" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-NO3DDKE6/4e1a8209-270c-4b90-8064-450d4e0455be/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-NO3DDKE6/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-NO3DDKE6" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
