This article sheds light on what is known about the conventional and the exotic hadrons based on the fundamental theory of strong interactions { Quantum ChromoDynamics (QCD). This is not a simple problem, since the strong force in hadrons does not allow the perturbative theoretical treatment"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Običajni hadroni so barioni in mezoni. Prvi so sestavjeni iz treh valenčnih kvarkov ?$(qqq)$?, drugi pa iz valenčnega kvarka in antikvarka ?$(q\\bar{q})$?. V zadnjem desetletju so eksperimentalno prvič opazili zanimiva stanja, ki bi lahko ustrezala eksotičnim tetrakvarkom ?$(\\bar{q}q\\bar{q}q)$? in pentakvarkom ?$(qqqq\\bar{q})$?. Posvetili se bomo vprašanju, kaj vemo danes o običajnih in eksotičnih hadronih na podlagi fundamentalne teorije - kromodinamike.
