We selected the system of factors which should contribute to the long-term successfulness of enterprises, simultaneously considering the interests of society. These factors are: global and market orientation, innovativeness, proactivity, ambitiousness, consideration (and fulfillment) of stakeholders' interests, and long-term orientation. In the empirical part of the research, we tested for a correlation between the above-mentioned factors and the successfulness of enterprises, measured by the value added per employee. On the basis of our findings, we introduce recommendations for improvement of business management, which should lead toward increases in the value added and the successfulness of enterprises"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku analiziramo značilnosti poslovanja slovenskih podjetij. Izbrali smo sistem dejavnikov, ki naj bi pripomogli k dolgoročnejši uspešnosti podjetij ob upoštevanju interesov širše družbe. Ti dejavniki so: globalna in tržna usmerjenost, inovativnost, proaktivnost, ambicioznost, zadovoljevanje interesov udeležencev podjetja in dolgoročna usmerjenost. Z anketo smo preverili povezavo teh dejavnikov z uspešnostjo, merjeno z dodano vrednostjo na zaposlenega v anketiranih podjetjih.
