However, more recent studies show a reduction in the risk of worsening of the disease during pregnancy and after childbirth if treatment is properly planned and implemented without adversely affecting the health of the mother or the baby. When planning a pregnancy, it is also important to consider the risk to the baby from possible exposure to the drugs and the risk to the mother from relapse. Recent studies have confirmed the safety of injectable drugs such as glatiramer acetate and interferon-beta during pregnancy while some oral drugs may pose a risk to the foetus. Monoclonal antibodies such as rituximab or natalizumab are unlikely to increase the risk to the foetus but may cross the placenta and cause haematological abnormalities in the newborn if administered after the second trimester. Breastfeeding is associated with a lower risk of exacerbation of MS after delivery. Family planning counselling for women with multiple sclerosis is crucial, as proper treatment planning and careful monitoring of the pregnancy course can contribute to the health of both mother and child"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V preteklosti so ženske z multiplo sklerozo odvračali od nosečnosti zaradi napačnega prepričanja, da bi ta lahko poslabšala potek njihove bolezni. Vendar pa novejše študije kažejo na zmanjšanje tveganja za poslabšanje bolezni med nosečnostjo in po porodu, če je zdravljenje ustrezno načrtovano in izvedeno. Pri načrtovanju nosečnosti je pomembno upoštevati tudi tveganje za otroka zaradi morebitne izpostavljenosti zdravilom in tveganje za mater zaradi ponovnega pojava aktivnosti bolezni. Nedavne študije so potrdile varnost injiciranih zdravil, kot sta glatiramer acetat in interferon beta, med nosečnostjo, medtem ko lahko nekatera peroralna zdravila predstavljajo tveganje za plod. Monoklonska protitelesa, kot sta rituksimab in natalizumab, verjetno ne povečujejo tveganja za plod, vendar lahko prehajajo skozi posteljico in povzročajo hematološke nepravilnosti pri novorojenčku, če se dajejo po drugem trimesečju. Dojenje je povezano z manjšim tveganjem za poslabšanje multiple skleroze po porodu. Svetovanje o načrtovanju družine za ženske z multiplo sklerozo je ključnega pomena, saj lahko pravilno načrtovanje zdravljenja in skrbno spremljanje poteka nosečnosti prispevata k zdravju matere in otroka"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-N8DQUJ4S","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:doc-N8DQUJ4S"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-N8DQUJ4S/8f5f7fb6-4627-460d-b816-15d812c023a7/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-N8DQUJ4S/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-N8DQUJ4S"}}}}
