No translations from other Slavic languages were published in this period of time. The translated novels are presented in the context of similar Slo-venian young adult novels, with the majority belonging to the contemporary genre with socio-psycho-logical themes. This is related to adolescent readers (and literary characters) who find themselves in a transitional period of their lives. Novels originally published during the first decade of the twenty-first century or earlier paint a picture of changing social conditions, whereas newer texts focus on pivotal moments (such as death or illness) connected to the main literary characters. All of the adolescents nonetheless share several key circumstances: the search for their identity, goals, reason and their place in the society (including being accepted by their peers, first love and sexual experiences), as well as testing the limits that adults set for them"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Obravnavani so mladinski romani, izdani v zadnjem desetletju, ki so iz slovanskih jezikov prevedeni v slovenščino: pet iz hrvaščine, po dva iz poljščine in češčine, po en iz srbščine, ruščine, slovaščine in ukrajinščine; iz drugih slovanskih jezikov prevodov mladinskih romanov ni. Prevedeni romani so predstavljeni v kontekstu podobnih slovenskih mladinskih romanov, pri čemer jih največ sodi v soci-alno-psihološki žanr, kar smemo povezati z obdobjem odraščanja bralcev (in literarnih likov), ki so v specifičnem življenjskem obdobju. Romani, ki so v izvirniku nastali v 1. desetletju 21. stoletja ali prej, slikajo spremenjene družbene razmere, novejša besedila se osredinjajo na prelomne dogodke (smrt, bolezen), ki se navezujejo na glavne literarne like.
