The text initially outlines the relationship between theory and practice, and the methodological specificities of artistic research in relation to research in science. Further on, it illuminates methods, conceptual and contextual issues of instrumental art research and provides a systematization of artistic practices that introduce neuroscience and neurotechnology at certain stages of the creative process. The analysis of examples of selected artworks is based on the division of artistic approaches that use various neuro-research technologies – functional magnetic resonance imaging, brain wave measurement, mobile eye tracking – in interactive works (affective aspect), use radiological visualizations of the brain to create associations and poetic metaphors (rhetorical and metaphorical aspect), or explore the potential of neuromorphic and sensorial technologies in the field of generative artificial intelligence and robotic art (performative aspect)</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Raziskovalne umetniške prakse konceptualno in tehnološko posegajo na različna področja znanosti in humanistike, pri čemer proces raziskovanja utemeljujejo v interdisciplinarnih metodologijah, katerih namen je ustvarjanje umetniškega dela, in ne oblikovanje znanstvene teorije. Analiza primerov izbranih umetniških del temelji na delitvi umetniških pristopov, ki uporabljajo različne nevroraziskovalne tehnologije – funkcijsko magnetno resonanco, merjenje možganskih valov, mobilno sledenje očesnim gibom – v interaktivnih delih (afektivni vidik) ter radiološke vizualizacije možganov za ustvarjanje asociacij in poetičnih metafor (retorični in metaforični vidik) ali raziskujejo potenciale nevromorfnih in senzornih tehnologij na področju uporabe generativne umetne inteligence in robotske umetnosti (performativni vidik)</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-MMKDSD61"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-MMKDSD61" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MMKDSD61/32f071e8-66b9-4a8b-a361-4730f24942df/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Filozofska fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MMKDSD61/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MMKDSD61" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
