In the 1960s, social workers sought to address the needs of single mothers and to support them particularly when poverty and housing insecurity were prevalent in the family. The findings of the research presented in the paper support the thesis that, despite the progressive views of the socialist political doctrine of the time, social workers in practice in the mid-1970s held an essentially traditionalist view of the family that eventually became entrenched in the 1980s. The belief that a child needs a father and a mother for »normal development« was so categorical with regard to single mothers that it can be assumed that social work in this sense moved away from the ideology of socialism</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Zgodovinski pregled prakse socialnega dela s samskimi materami, ki temelji na diplomskih nalogah Višje šole za socialno delo, pokaže, da se je diskurz socialnih delavk o tej socialni temi zelo spreminjal. Prepričanje, da otrok potrebuje očeta in mater za »normalen razvoj«, je bilo v odnosu do samskih mater tako kategorično, da je mogoče domnevati, da se je socialno delo v tem pogledu razhajalo z ideologijo socializma</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-MIW344W7"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-MIW344W7" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MIW344W7/7c16d0b6-f82e-41ce-bf0a-04baf73245cf/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za socialno delo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MIW344W7/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-MIW344W7" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
