The paper outlines some of the open dilemmas of the new construction legislation in Slovenia that require an argumentative discussion, withdrawn from the media and with the participation of various actors, to whom the Construction Act defines working conditions. Among interested professionals there are certainly civil engineers, as the Construction Act is a central part of the revised construction legislation. Selected dilemmas are discussed in the paper, although in the heated professional debate following the enforcement of the new construction legislation, there appeared quite some dilemmas, which varied according to the role of the discussants: investor, designer, supervisor, contractor and construction manager, auditor, educator, etc. For the benefit of all the professions involved in the complex interconnection of building construction sector and the Slovenian society as a whole, corrections to the new construction legislation are necessary, which will not only be cosmetic, as they should eliminate unnecessary anomalies"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prenovljena gradbena zakonodaja, sprejeta leta 2017, je bila v strokovnih krogih deležna številnih kritik, a tudi podpore, odvisno, katera interesna skupina jo je presojala. V prispevku so navedene nekatere odprte dileme nove gradbene zakonodaje, ki zahtevajo argumentirano razpravo, umaknjeno iz medijev in ob sodelovanju različnih udeležencev, ki jim gradbena zakonodaja določa pogoje dela. Med zainteresirane strokovnjake se gotovo uvrščajo gradbeniki, saj je Gradbeni zakon osrednji del prenovljene gradbene zakonodaje.
