The F-v-P relationship was measured during squat jumps with a barbell for 32 cyclists. Participants performed jumps with four different loading conditions - determined relative to the participants’ body mass. Analysis of variance showed statistically significant differences between cycling disciplines (road, downhill, enduro) in jump height (p < 0.001) and maximum theoretical power (Pmax ) (p < 0.05). Enduro cyclists generated greater Pmax and jumped higher than road cyclists and downhill mountain bikers (p < 0.05). The results of the elite cyclists in our study provide reference values for strength and power training of leg extensors among young cyclists. Based on the results, we recommend leg extensor power training aimed at increasing Pmax , especially for enduro cyclists"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen naše raziskave je bil preveriti razlike v višini skoka iz polčepa in v izhodnih spremenljivkah odnosa sila-hitrost-moč (F-v-P) med cestnimi in gorskimi kolesarji (disciplini enduro in spust). Odnos F-v-P smo izmerili z uporabo pritiskovne plošče pri skokih iz polčepa z olimpijsko ročko za 32 kolesarjev. Uporabljena so bila štiri bremena, določena relativno glede na maso preiskovanca. Z analizo variance smo ugotovili statistično značilne razlike med kolesarji različnih kolesarskih disciplin (cestno kolesarstvo, spust z gorskimi kolesi, enduro) v višini skoka iz polčepa (p < 0,001) in največji teoretični moči (Pmax ) (p < 0,05). Gorski kolesarji discipline enduro ustvarijo večjo Pmax ter skačejo višje od cestnih kolesarjev in gorskih kolesarjev iz discipline spust (p < 0,05). Rezultati vrhunskih kolesarjev iz naše študije predstavljajo referenčne vrednosti za vadbo moči iztegovalk nog pri mlajših kolesarjih.
