More than one million cubic meters of timber were not cut down.The main problem is the private sector. In state forests the felling was realized in acordanse with forest management plans. Economic indicators and rations are showing negative trends, which are worse that the average in the state. Essentially weaker in management is wood processing industry, which showed lost in year 2008. Its added value is under 2/3 state average and more then two times lower than similar firms in neighbor country Austria. For wood processing industry is now the last time for reconstruction its technology and know-how. The earn (profit) in forest companies is reduced for 40 %, the lost is bigger for ten times. The fact is that the loans in the state economy were increased faster than the productivity or added value. Similar situation was last time in year 2005. In forestry is this difference even bigger. The situation confirms the theory the white book of Chamber of commerce and industry of Slovenia that the lowest loans are to small for survival but to large considering of added values"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Slovensko gozdarstvo tudi v letu 2008 ni uresničilo poseka v obsegu, kot ga dovoljujejo gozdnogospodarski načrti. Neposekanih je ostalo več kot milijon kubičnih metrov lesa. Težave so v zasebnem sektorju, v državnih gozdovih pa jesečnja opravljena v skladu z dinamiko načrtov. Kazalniki poslovanja gozdarskih družb kažejo negativne težnje, ki so slabši kot velja za povprečje države. V poslovanju je bistveno slabša lesna industrija, ki je leta 2008 prikazala neto izgubo. Njena dodana vrednost je 2/3 manjša od državnega povprečja in več kot dvakrat zaostaja za primerljivimi podjetji iz sosednje Avstrije. Za lesarsko panogo velja, da je zadnji trenutek za ustrezno prestrukturiranje ali pa je poslednji vlak morda že odpeljal. V gozdarskih družbah se je dobiček zmanjšal za 40 %, izguba pa se je povečala skoraj desetkrat. Za celotno gospodarstvo države velja, da so se plače večale hitreje kot produktivnost oziroma dodana vrednost. Zadnjič se je to zgodilo leta 2005. V gozdarstvu je ta razkorak še večji.
