Critical dimensions of cube in vacuum and tamper (reflector) with same diffusion coefficient are calculated. Results are compared and verified with iterative Monte Carlo method. Finally, criticality of uranium ?$^{235}$?U cube is determined by iterative Monte Carlo method, which shows larger deviations from the results of diffusion approximation</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Predstavljena je difuzijska aproksimacija in izpeljava Fickovega zakona za nevtrone v fisijskem materialu. V nadaljevanju sledi izračun kritične velikosti kocke v vakuumu in plašču (reflektorju) s kocki enakimi difuzijskimi lastnostmi. Sledi primerjava in uskladitev rezultatov difuzijske aproksimacije z rezultati iterativne Monte Carlo metode.
