Nevertheless, to date there was no critical search inGreco-roman written sources with the aim to find data, concerning the attitude of ĆcivilisedĆ inhabitants of Mediterranean, towards their culturallyless developed neighbours. The article presents a possibility of further research in this interesting field. Research comprised the careful reading of more than 20 available documents in which Greeks and Romans regarded other nations as barbaric, culturally and scientifically inferior to them. The sources about healing art among them are therefore rare and dispersed throughout their work. The only exception is presented in the personof Pliny the Elder, who very methodically presented the preparations used by ancient men. The following centuries present another reduction in the number and quality of sources that lasted until the dissolution of Roman stateand the formation of Byzantine empire in the east"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V tuji in domaoei strokovni literaturi se pogosto pojavljajo oelanki o zgodovini farmacije, ki dokaj podrobno popisujejo posamezna geografska podrooeja, narode ali pa pomembne osebnosti. Kljub vsemu pa do danes ni oe nihoee kritioeno obdelal groko-rimske pisne vire in v njih poiskal podatke o zdravilstvu pri njihovih manj razvitih sosedih. Prioeujooee delo zato omogooeanadaljnje raziskave antioenih virov, povezanih s to tematiko. V raziskavo je bilo vkljuoeenih veoe kot dvajset dostopnih besedil, v katerih sekaae podcenjujooe odnos Grkov in Rimljanov do Ćbarbarskih ljudstev s severaĆ. Podatki o zdravilstvu med njimi so zato redki in razproeni. Svetlo izjemo predstavlja Plinij starejoi, ki se je navajanja zdravilnih pripravkov lotil zelo sistematioeno in uporabljal otevilne, za nas ae izgubljene vire. Pri tem je veoekrat zapisal tudi, kje in kdo je prvi uporabljal dolooeen zdravilni pripravek.
