The issue in merger control is that competition authority evaluates concentrations only after the implementation of concentration. In a case of prohibition of concentration establishing previous state costs a lot of time and money. The author assesses merger control based on four different criteria, namely: pre-notification discussions, time limit for notification, time limit for competition authority decision and undertakings. In addition, evaluation of merger control efficiency in Slovenia is made by comparing it to merger control in the European Union and United Kingdom"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek obravnava učinkovitost postopka presoje koncentracije v nacionalnem pravu. Na podlagi trenutne ureditve podjetje priglasi koncentracijo konkurenčnemu organu šele po izvedbi vseh glavnih aktivnosti. V primeru prepovedi koncentracije s strani konkurenčnega organa odprava učinkov nastale koncentracije pomeni za priglasitelja ogromno nepotrebnih stroškov in porabljenega časa. Avtorica presoja učinkovitost postopka presoje koncentracije na podlagi štirih kriterijev, in sicer možnosti predhodnih posvetovanj s konkurenčnim organom, trenutka priglasitve koncentracije, časa trajanja postopka in sredstev za preprečevanje protikonkurenčnih učinkov.
