Despite significant advances in lubricants, lubrication systems, and condition monitoring techniques, lubrication- -related failures remain a major cause of damage to bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems. The most common causes include the use of unsuitable lubricants, incorrect lubricant quantities, contamination, inadequate lubricant condition monitoring, and insufficient personnel training. This paper presents the most frequent lubrication-related problems, their impact on equipment reliability, and the main preventive measures that can reduce wear, extend component service life, and improve maintenance efficiency"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Učinkovito mazanje je eden ključnih pogojev za zanesljivo in dolgo uporabno dobo industrijskih strojev ter naprav. Čeprav so se maziva, mazalni sistemi in diagnostične metode v zadnjih letih bistveno razvili, ostajajo napake pri mazanju pomemben vzrok okvar ležajev, zobniških prenosov in hidravličnih sistemov. Najpogosteje so posledica neustrezne izbire maziva, nepravilnega odmerjanja, kontaminacije, pomanjkljivega spremljanja stanja maziva ter nezadostno usposobljenega osebja.
