The former aspect, not to be developed by Camus in his later work, anticipates the aesthetic views of the writer A. Robbe-Grillet. The latter, however, represents a special, Camus's, variant of the existentialist conception of the artistic creation and of a work of art. The presentation relies mostly on Camus' essays, criticism, letters, and notes from the period 1937-1943, partly also on the novel The Outsider, and at the same time takes a critical stand against what has so far been established in connection with this topicCamusova estetska načela v tako imenovani fazi absurda imajo dva aspekta: realizem fenomenov in videzov - ter estetiko absurda v pravem pomenu besede. Prvi aspekt, ki ga Camus pozneje ni dalje razvil, napoveduje estetske nazore pisatelja. A.
