However, in spite of both saints' adherence to the same conventional hagiographic cliché of a virgin saint, some significant differences between St Mildrith and St Aethelthryth are being revealed in the two hagiographic accounts examined in this paper. Both texts point to a certain degree of thematic flexibility within this highly conventional medieval literary genre, and it is the combination of thematic rigidity and flexibility which causes the vita to be a rewarding topic of comparative literature</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Članek obravnava - v luči primerjalne književnosti in z vidika literarne zvrsti življenja svetnikov - usodi sv. V resnici je prav kombinacija rigidnosti in prožnosti tista kvaliteta, ki spreminja literarno zvrst življenja svetnikov v hvaležen predmet raziskav na področju primerjalne književnosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-KPQXQSCX"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-KPQXQSCX" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-KPQXQSCX/d87ed95b-7dba-43f1-9b18-e1bf39fc16d8/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko društvo za primerjalno književnost</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-KPQXQSCX/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-KPQXQSCX" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
