This review article concludes that dynamic stretching has a greater impact on muscle performance in tennis players than self-massage and strengthening exercises. Dynamic stretching in the warm-up also has the effect of reducing micromuscular damage during the main part of the training, which helps the athlete in the recovery process. Neuromuscular methods also have a positive effect on muscular performance, whereby too heavy loads (>80% of 1 RM) can have a negative effect on players and limit the scope for future progress. In the tennis warm-up, dynamic stretching, self-massage, trunk, shoulder and hip exercises, plyometrics (jump rope exercises) and agility exercises are recommended for positive acute and, if consistent, long-term effects on muscular performance and reduced risk of injury"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Ogrevanje je za teniškega igralca pomemben sestavni del priprave na trenažno-tekmovalne obremenitve, ki lahko pripomore k dvigu zmogljivosti in zmanjšanju verjetnosti poškodb. V preglednem članku je ugotovljeno, da ima dinamično raztezanje pri teniških igralcih večji vpliv na mišično zmogljivost kot samomasaža in krepilne vaje. Dinamično raztezanje v ogrevanju vpliva tudi na zmanjšanje mikromišičnih poškodb v glavnem delu treninga, kar pomaga športniku pri regeneraciji. Pozitivno na mišično zmogljivost vplivajo tudi živčno-mišične metode, pri čemer lahko pretežka bremena (> 80 % 1 RM) na igralce delujejo negativno in omejijo prostor za napredek v prihodnosti.
