This is also one of the reasons, why we, the teachers of the first grade, started to use interactive whiteboards and Tablets PC-s in our educational process. The main idea is to offer the knowledge to the first graders through work and teaching that takes into account the students level of development and is also close to the childs holistic perception.  In cross-curriculartheme integration the holistic perception is very important and valuable because it helps to develop a childs attention. We annually perform classes of Library and information knowledgetogether with our school librarian. In this way we raise indepedent, active and responsible users of libraries. The children are  also more  motivated to read and learn. Boards and computers are used for the transmition of the learning material that is in electronic textbooks and notebooks. However, interactive devices give us much more than this: they give us also the access to the Internet, audio and video clips, images, power point presentations... We can also encourage independent learning, children can consolidate their knowledge, develop their creativity and also get relaxed. The usage of the whiteboards must be well thought over and systematic; the teacher is the one who decides which didactic device is appropriate in a certain situation to achieve the best educational aim"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V letošnjem šolskem letu so v posodobljenih učnih načrtih tudi vsebine za razvoj digitalne pismenosti učencev, ki je ena izmed ključnih kompetenc današnjega časa. To je tudi eden od razlogov, da smo učiteljice prvih razredov v svojem vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu pričele uporabljati interaktivne table in tablične računalnike. Prvobitno pa nas vodi ideja prvošolcem ponuditi znanje s pomočjo delovnega gradiva ter  tehnike poučevanja, ki upoštevajo njihovo razvojno stopnjo in otrokovo celostno dojemanje. Le-to pa dobiva v medpredmetnem in tematskem povezovanju  dodano vrednost in pospešeno razvija otrokov razvoj pozornosti.Skupaj s knjižničarjem vsako leto izvajamo ure knjižnično informacijskih znanj, saj na ta način vzgajamo samostojne, aktivne in odgovorne uporabnike knjižnice. Učence tako še bolj motiviramo za branje in učenje.Table in računalnike uporabljamo za posredovanje učne snovi iz elektronskih učbenikov in delovnih zvezkov. Vendar pa nam interaktivni pripomočki omogočajo še mnogo več kot le to: dostop do svetovnega spleta, avdio in video posnetkov, slikovnega gradiva, multimedijskih predstavitev itd.
