It became more acute in the second half of the twentieth century, when women first entered labour market. In spite of all changes, the family is still believed to be an exclusively female domain, and women's engagements in it have a primacy.Military organization is a traditional 'male' organization. The gender dimension of the discussed topic is thus very strong and should not be ignored. It becomes even more apparent when reconciliation of demands from 'male' military organization and 'female' family is an issues.Both institutions must find a way of cohabitation in order to avoid a conflict that can be useful to neither of them"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Koncept usklajevanja dela in družine ni nov in je prisoten odkar so se ljudje začeli zaposlovati izven domačega gospodinjstva. Še bolj aktualen je postal v drugi polovici dvajsetega stoletja, ko so ženske začele bolj množično stopati na trg delovne sile. Kljub vsem spremembam v zadnjih desetletjih je danes družina še vedno okakterizirana kot domena žensk, obveznost žensk pa je primarno vezana na družino in šele potem tudi na njen 'poklicni' svet. Od ženske se pričakuje, da je primarno zvesta družini, medtem ko se od moških pričakuje ravno narobe, saj ima 'doma'žensko, ki bo poskrbela za družino. Na drugi strani pa imamo vojaško organizacijo, ki velja za tradicionalno moško organizacijo. Spolna dimenzija obravnavane tematike je tako izredno močna in je pri raziskovanju tega področja ne smemo zanemariti.
