While the model is based on experiences of experts, it is yet to have been tested in practice. The first study is an expert evaluation of two FRBR-based prototypes, FictionFinderand Library Labs, that took place in January 2007. It found that FRBR facilitates better catalogue displays, however there are still problems with identification of FRBR entities. The second study is a study of mental models of the bibliographic universe, which is the first published study of its kind. It consisted of three tasks: cards sorting, concept mapping and comparison task. It was conducted on 30 participants from the Ljubljana area in the period between July 2007 and February 2008. Results show that there is not a single mental model of the bibliographic universe. Different individuals generally have different mental models and these generally differ from the FRBR model. Also, individuals' mental models changed with the task. The more participants interacted with the bibiliographic universe, the more FRBR-like their models became. Hovever, on average mental models were found to be FRBR-like"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V članku sta predstavljeni dve študiji, povezani s konceptualnim modelom bibliografskega sveta Funkcionalne zahteve za bibliografske zapise (FZBZ). Model FZBZ je nastal na osnovi izkušenj strokovnjakov, ni pa preverjen v praksi. Prva študija je ekspertna primerjava dveh prototipov, zasnovanih na FZBZ, FictionFinder in LibraryLabs, ki je bila izvedena januarja 2007. Ta je pokazala, da FZBZ omogoča izboljšanje prikazov, vendar obstajajo težave pri identifikaciji entitet. Druga je raziskava miselnih modelov bibliografskega sveta, ki je prva objavljena tovrstna uporabniška študija. Sestavljena je bila iz treh nalog: razvrščanja, izdelave miselnih vzorcev ter primerjave in je bila izvedena na 30 udeležencih s področja Ljubljane v času med julijem 2007 ter februarjem 2008. Izkazalo se je, da ne obstaja le en miselni model bibliografskega sveta. Različni posamezniki imajo praviloma različne miselne modele bibliografskega sveta, ki se običajno ne skladajo popolnoma s konceptualnim modelom FZBZ. Izkazalo se je tudi, da se miselni modeli bibliografskega sveta pri posameznikih spreminjajo in so bolj podobni FZBZ, ko so posamezniki v interakciji z bibliografskim svetom.
