In the article we describe the characteristics of the most frequent winds in the Adriatic Sea, which are suitable for windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as for all other sports that are powered by wind speed. We also described the basic principles for the formation of the winds. The contribution is useful for all those who are interested in the formation of the winds in Slovenia and its surrounding area"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen prispevka je predstaviti naravne pojave, ki omogočajo razvoj ustrezne hitrosti vetra na območju Slovenije in njene bližnje okolice za jadranje in kajtanje. V prispevku smo opisali značilnosti najbolj pogostih vetrov v Jadranskem morju, ki so primerni za jadranje na deski in kajtanje, pa tudi za vse ostale športe, ki za svoj pogon izkoriščajo silo vetra. Pri tem smo opisali tudi osnovne zakonitosti za nastanek vetrov.
