Their definitions change according to the various directions and methods, and this article therefore presents various explanations and outlines modern views of the areas studied. The connection between all three of these terms in terms of the two- and three-level concept of the narrative proves that the terms and their fields mix and mingle: they can be defined broadly or narrowly, using a descriptive and a defining approach. Thus for example, the descriptive approach provides a broader definition of the narrative as a cognitive, identity, performative, and inventive category, and the defining approach defines it more narrowly through the perspective of narratology as a concretization of a given narrative structure and as a unique literary organization, in which individual elements are arranged according to their literary effect"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Zgodba, pripoved in pripovedovanje so pogosti termini znanstvenih in neznanstvenih področij današnjika. Njihove definicije se spreminjajo glede na različne usmeritve ali metode, zato sem v razpravi predstavila različne razlage, hkrati pa nakazala sodobne poglede na izpostavljena področja. Povezanost vseh treh v dvoravninski in troravninski koncepciji pripovedi dokazuje, da so termini ter njihova področja medsebojno prepleteni in pretočni: lahko jih določimo širše ali ožje, skozi deskriptivni in definicijski pristop.
