Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) offer a comprehensive technological solution that enables advanced connectivity between vehicles, infrastructure, and various participants in the transport ecosystem, while providing timely and context-aware information about current traffic conditions. These solutions rely on diverse communication protocols, supported by security mechanisms and standards that ensure reliable and interoperable data exchange. In Slovenia, the field of C-ITS is actively developing through a variety of projects, initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades. Key developments include the establishment of a national C-ITS node, National Access Point, and digital tools such as the Promet+ and SiMO mobile applications, which provide users with real-time traffic information and support for multimodal journey planning. C-ITS holds significant potential to enhance road safety, traffic flow, and the sustainable management of mobility, especially when fully integrated into existing systems and supported through coordinated collaboration across all entities involved in the mobility ecosystem"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Sodobna mobilnost se sooča z vse bolj zapletenimi izzivi, kot so prometni zastoji, visoke emisije toplogrednih plinov, povečano število prometnih nesreč in neučinkovito posredovanje obstoječih kakovostnih informacij udeležencem v prometu. Kooperativni inteligentni prometni sistemi (C-ITS) so celovita tehnološka rešitev, ki omogoča napredno povezovanje vozil, infrastrukture in drugih deležnikov v prometnem ekosistemu ter pravočasno in kontekstualno obveščanje uporabnikov o trenutnih prometnih razmerah. Rešitve temeljijo na uporabi različnih komunikacijskih protokolov, podprtih z varnostnimi mehanizmi in standardi, ki zagotavljajo zanesljivo in interoperabilno izmenjavo podatkov. V Sloveniji se področje C-ITS aktivno razvija skozi različne projekte, pobude in infrastrukturne nadgradnje, med katerimi izstopajo nacionalno C-ITS vozlišče, Nacionalna točka dostopa do prometnih podatkov ter digitalna orodja, kot sta aplikaciji Promet+ in SiMO, ki uporabnikom omogočajo dostop do informacij v realnem času in podporo pri načrtovanju poti.
