These issues can be reduced with suitable adaptations of the environment and medical aids. The aim of the article was to review which medical aids that are financed by the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia are most frequently assessed for and prescribed to patients with lower limb amputation. Methods: The occupational therapists' documentation at the University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana, where all medical aids being assessed and prescribed are recorded, was reviewed for rehabilitation patients after lower limb amputation. The timeframe was set between June and December 2017. Results: Medical documentation of 160 patients was reviewed (77.5% were men). One-hundred-and-fourteen patients (71.2%) received 185 items of medical aids. The patients received between 0 (46 patients, 28.8%) and 5 (1 patient, 0.6%) medical aids. The most frequently prescribed item was antidecubitus cushions, followed by shower stool/bath board and raised toilet seat. Te težave lahko zmanjšamo z ustreznimi prilagoditvami okolja in medicinsko-tehničnimi pripomočki. Namen raziskave je bil pregledati, katere medicinsko- tehnične pripomočke, ki jih plačuje ZZZS, največkrat testiramo in svetujemo osebam po amputaciji spodnjega uda. Metode: Iz medicinske dokumentacije in dokumentacije delovnih terapevtov na URI - Soča smo poiskali podatke o pripomočkih, ki smo jih svetovali bolnikom, sprejetim v program rehabilitacije po amputaciji spodnjih udov od junija do decembra leta 2017. Rezultati: Pregledali smo dokumentacijo 160 bolnikov (77,5 % moških). S 185 medicinsko-tehničnimi pripomočki smo opremili 114 bolnikov (71,2 %). Bolniki so prejeli od nič (46 bolnikov, 28,8 %) do pet pripomočkov (en bolnik, 0,6 %). Najpogosteje predpisani pripomočki so blazine za sedež, sledita sedeža za tuš kabino ali kopalno kad ter nastavek za toaletno školjko. Zaključek: Bolniki po amputaciji potrebujejo za izboljšanje samostojnosti številne pripomočke"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-JM3SM9F3","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:doc-JM3SM9F3"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JM3SM9F3/5a94bbab-42b0-4eaa-ae8f-6fe544da3520/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JM3SM9F3/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-JM3SM9F3"}}}}
