Within the last decades the species has been spreading very fast along the highways in Central Europe. In summer 2008 it was detected for the first time in Slovenia and systematic mapping showed that it is present along most of the Slovenian highways. It is also reported for the first time for Carinthia (Karnten) in Austria. A distribution map is presented, as well as the plant description and diagnostic characters to distinguish it from Dittrichia viscosa, which al so occurs in Slovenia. Objavljamo tudi prve podatke o njenem uspevanju na avstrijskem Koroškem.
