Kljub razhajanju v vzrokih so med navedenima krizama tudi vzporednice, na podlagi katerih so se z izvedbo raziskave oblikovale mogoče posledice za nepremičninski trg. V raziskavi so se s pomočjo ankete zbirala mnenja nepremičninskih posrednikov o morebitnih posledicah, ki bi jih koronavirusna kriza utegnila povzročiti na slovenskem nepremičninskem trgu. Pričakovano je bilo, da bo zaradi blaginje po finančni krizi nastop koronavirusne krize prizadel nepremičninski trg, vendar se je zgodilo prav obratno.
