Three sources were analysed, laboratory VV-curing equipment, UV-A radiation source and xenon lamp. Spectral irradiances were measured on positions where a personis likely to be present when working with particular equipment. Exposure levels for skin and eyes were calculated for ultraviolet and visible radiation. The protection ability of the lab coat textile, protective goggles and gloves were analysed. The blue light hazard was found to be negligible for all three radiation sources without any protection. However, a person with unprotected skin and eyes is allowed to be exposed to ultraviolet radiation for up to some minutes, depending on radiation source and its application. Hazardous effects of ultraviolet radiation are greatly diminished by protective cloth, gloves and goggles. Rather poor protection is achieved by textile and better by gloves and goggles"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Analizirali smo fotobiološko varnost treh virov nekoherentnih optičnih sevanj glede na določila Uredbe o varovanju delavcev pred tveganji zaradi izpostavljenosti umetnim optičnim sevanjem. Izbrali smo tri vire sevanj, ki jih uporabljamo pri raziskovalnem delu: laboratorijski UV-sušilnik, vir sevanja UV-A in ksenonsko svetilko. Na mestih, kjer se pri delu lahko zadržuje oseba, smo izmerili spektralno obsevanost in izračunali stopnjo tveganja za škodljive učinke ultravijoličnega sevanja in vidne svetlobe na oči in kožo. Preverili smo tudi učinkovitost zaščitnih očal, oblačil in rokavic za zaščito pred škodljivimi učinki prekomernega sevanja. Škodljivi učinki modre svetlobe so zanemarljivi za vse analizirane sevalne vire že brez kakršne koli zaščite, medtem ko je oseba z nezavarovano kožo in očmi lahko med delom izpostavljena UV-sevanju le od manj kot pol minute do nekaj minut, odvisno od vrste sevalnega vira in njegove uporabe. Škodljive učinke UV-sevanja pa močno zmanjšamo z zaščitno obleko, rokavicami in očali.
