Temporary limitation of movement, socializing and performing the business are only some of them. The purpose of this paper is to synthesize and critically discus how the Government of the Republic of Slovenia managed the crisis of Covid-19 epidemic in the state in spring 2020. The synthesis and discussion are based on the review of the events in Slovenia assessed through the interpretation of human right lens. The results show how the law technique was used to manage Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, they re- veal that there is a thin line between justifiable protection of the public interest to cease the spread of the virus and unjustifiable limitations of the constitutional rights.
