Businessmen, politicians and the rest of the population are aware of this. Businessmen are complaining about lengthy procedures in spatial planning, obtaining building and operating permits. Also politicians recognise this when trying to meet the requirements of individual interest groups from the economy and the local community through frequent changes to the Environmental Protection Act and its regulations. Environmental organizations and civil society oppose the demands of interest groups to lower environmental standards. The professional public (universities, institutes, professional chambers, etc.) does not have much influence on this"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Zakon o varstvu okolja (ZVO) in njegovi podzakonski akti povzročajo precejšnje težave pri načrtovanju, izgradnji in obratovanju objektov. Tega se zavedajo gospodarstveniki, politiki in tudi ostalo prebivalstvo. Gospodarstveniki se pritožujejo zaradi dolgotrajnih postopkov pri umeščanju objektov v prostor ter pri pridobitvi gradbenih in uporabnih dovoljenj. To ugotavljajo tudi politiki in poskušajo s pogostimi spremembami ZVO in njegovih podzakonskih aktov ustreči zahtevam posameznih interesnih skupin iz gospodarstva in lokalne skupnosti. Okoljevarstvene organizacije in civilna družba nasprotujejo zahtevam interesih skupin po zniževanju okoljevarstvenih standardov.
