It also discusses the technical media of film, video and new media. The authors compare the functioning of a computing machine, as theoretically conceived by Turing, with the creative processes of an avant-garde artist. The authors are particularly interested in the construction and integrity of personal identity in the infosphere, as explored by Luciano Floridi’s philosophy and ethics of information. They then test theoretical insights regarding avant-garde and neo-avant-garde practices by interpreting the neo-avant-garde art projects of Nuša Dragan and Srečo Dragan from the late 1960s and 1970s and trace the continuity of concepts and processes in Srečo Dragan’s new media practice in the 1990s up to the present day. Using the example of artists from Slovenia – a seemingly peripheral but powerful centre of development in both fields – the paper shows how the neo-avant-garde and new media are connected at the level of theory and in the artworks</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Obravnave povezav med avantgardno, neoavantgardno in novomedijsko umetnostjo se v razpravi lotevamo skozi literarnozgodovinski in umetnostnozgodovinski pristop ter prek obravnave tehničnih medijev filma, videa in novih medijev. Teoretske uvide v zvezi z avantgardnimi in neoavantgardnimi praksami preizkusimo ob interpretaciji neoavantgardnih umetniških projektov Nuše Dragan in Sreča Dragana s konca šestdesetih in v sedemdesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja ter v nadaljevanju zasledujemo kontinuiteto konceptov in postopkov v novomedijski praksi Sreča Dragana v devetdesetih letih in vse do danes. S primerom umetnikov iz Slovenije, na videz marginalnega, vendar močnega centra razvoja obeh področij, pokažemo, kako se povezujejo neoavantgarda in novi mediji, tako na ravni teorije kot umetniških del</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-J1MBW9KD"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-J1MBW9KD" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-J1MBW9KD/457e99d2-3ce9-498e-88ab-ca84e31d5fe7/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovenski gledališki inštitut (SLOGI)</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-J1MBW9KD/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-J1MBW9KD" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
