Prispevek obravnava povezavo med topologijo prebivanja in eksistencialno strukturo biti-priča, ki je začrtana v Heideggrovi ekspoziciji biti-v-svetu v Biti in času. V nadaljevanju se prispevek posveča predvsem Heideggrovi opredelitvi zgodovine kot pričevanjskosti v predavanju »Hölderlin in bistvo pesništva« (1936). Zgodovinskost kot pričevanjskost prvotno opredeljuje možnost prebivanja, sicer to zapade v situacijo brezdomovinskosti.
