The collections of f. Titius from the second half of the 19. century are today kept in several institutes and in the article we present 9 of them. Further, we focus on two Titius collections of algae kept in the herbarium of the Slovenian Museum of Natural History (LJM). The collections came in the possession of Gymnasium Novo mesto in years 1859 and 1869, the museum officially took care of it in 1952. We present also the herbarium collection Flora Germanica exsiccata Cryptogamia (from the first half of the 19. century) and algae collected by dr. Angela Piskernik (from year 1912). We mention other algae collections stored in LJM. We redefined the algae, where it was possible and the given names fit to recent nomenclatureV prispevku opisujeva življenje in delo patra Pija Titiusa Vendela (1801-1884) na področju algologije ter njegove stike s pomembnimi osebnostmi v tistem času. Zbirke patra Titiusa iz druge polovice 19. stoletja danes hranijo različne ustanove. V članku predstavljava 9 njegovih zbirk, podrobneje pa obravnavava zbirki, ki sta shranjeni v herbariju Prirodoslovnega muzeja Slovenije (LJM). Zbirki sta prišli na Gimnazijo Novo mesto leta 1859 in 1869, leta 1952 je skrb zanje uradno prevzel Prirodoslovni muzej Slovenije. V prispevku predstavljava tudi alge iz zbirke Flora Germanica exsiccata Cryptogamia (iz prve polovice 19. stoletja) in alge iz študijske zbirke dr. Angele Piskernik (iz leta 1912) ter omenjava druge zbirke alg v LJM.
