Therefore, we reviewed the literature on the positive effects of storytelling on children and adolescents, using the Grid Engine to search for relevant studies with keywords such as storytelling, children and brain. Several references highlighting the advantages of storytelling for children and teenagers were selected. While the scope of our literature review remains limited, as this is an emerging area of inquiry, the findings underscore the substantial educational value of storytelling. Specifically, storytelling has been shown to positively influence vocabulary acquisition, writing skills, content exploration, self-esteem, imagination, and cultural knowledge. These findings provide a strong rationale for integrating storytelling into library programmes in music school settings</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Namen prispevka je spodbuditi pripovedovanje, tematsko povezano z glasbo v knjižnicah na glasbenih šolah. Zato smo se tokrat odločili, da bomo pregledali literaturo, ki nas bo seznanila s pozitivnimi vplivi pripovedovanja na otroke in mladostnike. Literaturo smo našli s pomočjo iskanja po ključnih besedah s pomočjo Mrežnika. Iskali smo s kombinacijo ključnih besed, kot so pripovedovanje, otroci, možgani. Izmed dobljenih zadetkov smo izbrali nekaj člankov, ki govorijo o pozitivnih vplivih pripovedovanja na otroke in mladostnike. Nekaj nadaljnje literature smo našli tudi med referencami v prvotno najdeni literaturi. Analiza je omejena z dejstvom, da pregled literature nikakor ni popoln in da smo se s temo šele začeli seznanjati. Tokrat smo se osredotočili na pozitivne vplive pripovedovanja na pedagoškem področju. Rezultati pregleda literature so pokazali, da ima pripovedovanje pozitiven vpliv na pridobivanje besedišča, sposobnost pisanja, raziskovanje vsebine, razvijanje samopodobe, krepitev samozavedanja, razvijanje domišljije ter kulturno znanje.
