I decided on the first approach since this was also the wish of the organiser. On the other hand, I do not have enough relevant information allowing me to scientifically discuss the second and third approaches and there was also not enough time from the invitation to the implementation to do such things. The sport culture of Slovenians and Pedičekćs influence on the sport culture of Slovenians today are more in the domain of sport sociologists and psychologists. If I had attempted to analyse the two approaches, it would have been complete speculation that would not contribute any new facts to science. Therefore, my contribution will be of a popular-scientific nature, lacking all the research methodology and a list of sources as required in a scientific approach"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Vabilo na znanstveno-strokovni posvet o prof. dr. Francu Pedičku in športni kulturi Slovencev je svojevrsten izziv s tremi možnimi pristopi: (1) lahko bi razpredal misli o prof. Pedičku kot osebnosti, (2) razpravljal o športni kulturi Slovencev ali (3) analiziral vpliv prof. Pedička na športno kulturo Slovencev danes. Odločil sem se za prvi pristop, saj je bila to tudi želja organizatorja. Po drugi strani nimam dovolj relevantnih podatkov, da bi lahko na znanstveni podlagi razpravljal o drugem in tretjem pristopu, za kaj takega je tudi čas od sklica do izvedbe posveta prekratek. Športna kultura Slovencev in Pedičkov vpliv na športno kulturo Slovencev danes sta poleg tega tudi bolj v pristojnosti športnih sociologov in psihologov. Če bi skušal omenjena sklopa sam razčlenjevati, bi bila to popolna špekulacija, ki ne bi prinesla nobenih dejstev za znanost.
