Based on the coat-of-arms on the wax seal and other labels on the back of the paintings, it can be confirmed that they originate from the collection of Isidor Ritter von Klarwill (1842–1898) in Vienna, part of which was transferred to Podsmreka in then Kingdom of Yugoslavia by Isidor’s grand-son Peter Klarwill. Based on archival sources, the article sheds light on the hitherto unknown circumstances of the transfer of a part of the Klarwill collection to Podsmreka in 1935, the sale of the Podsmreka manor to Anton Verovšek in 1939, and the fate of the manor’s furnishings and art collection after the end of WWII. Upon the sale of the castle to the state in 1948, several items were transferred from the manor to state museum collections. Their Viennese provenance has been traced and confirmed for the first time in this paper</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek analizira dve kabinetni žanrski sliki iz druge polovice 18. stoletja, ki sta do konca druge svetovne vojne viseli v dvorcu Podsmreka pri Višnji Gori, danes pa sta v zasebni lasti v Ljubljani. Z zapuščino Klarwillov prvič povezuje tudi posamezne umetnine in kose opreme, ki so bili ob prodaji dvorca državi leta 1948 dodeljeni javnim muzejskim zbirkam</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-IM1INWJV"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-IM1INWJV" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-IM1INWJV/9bcf410d-5b69-4fe7-b96f-cdee4780a9f8/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">ZRC SAZU, Umetnostnozgodovinski inštitut Franceta Steleta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-IM1INWJV/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-IM1INWJV" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
