Five of these, Alloperla atlantica Baumann, A. furcula Surdick,A. neglecta Frison, A. petasata Surdick and A. usa Ricker, are described for the first time and three others, A. concolor Ricker, A. imbecilla (Say), and A. natchez Surdick & Stark have earlier descriptions supplemented with new data.
