Consequently, children's image from educator's position is a highly important aspect for understanding how educational institution operates. The most comprehensive institutional documentation to determine adolescent's image are diaries of educators, where the most important daily events are recorded. Diaries are therefore a key source for understanding and evaluation of educational processes. Analysis of selected juvenile educational institution's diaries took place on the axis between Foucauldian analysis of educational institution operation and co-creational approach in child protection work</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Vzgojitelji v vzgojno-izobraževalnih zavodih imajo največ individualnega stika s tam nameščenimi otroki in to jim omogoča možnost za vzpostavitev odnosa in s tem tudi bolj poglobljenega razumevanja njihovih problemov. Podobe otrok s pozicije vzgojitelja so zato izjemno pomemben vidik za razumevanje delovanja zavoda. Najobširnejša dokumentacija, na podlagi katere lahko ugotavljamo podobe mladostnikov v zavodu, so vzgojiteljski dnevniki; v njih so zapisani najpomembnejši vsakodnevni dogodki. Zato so ključno gradivo za razumevanje in evalvacijo vzgojnih postopkov oziroma pristopov. V članku je prikazana analiza dnevnikov enega izmed osnovnošolskih vzgojno-izobraževalnih zavodov.
