Problems occur in hospital mainly, but are recognized later at home after discharge from department, due to diverse clinical signs. From that very reason the neurological signs are frequently misinterpreted as a result of classical obstetric complication. The most frequent problem is backache. Also most serious problems may occur, as are fecal and/or urinary incontinence and sensor and motor dysfunctions. Neurological problems may arise from all types of delivery, as well at vaginal delivery as at cesarean section. Knowledge of neurological complication is also of importance for estimate and explain them in juridical procedure"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek opisuje nevrološke zaplete ob porodu in po njem. Večina nevroloških težav nastopi že v porodnišnici, vendar so prepoznane kasneje, ko je ženska žedoma, ker je njihova klinična slika izredno pestra. Te težave pogosto napačno razlagajo kot posledico klasičnih porodniških komplikacij. Najpogostejša težava je bolečina v križu. Nastanejo lahko tudi resnejše težave, kot je blatna in/ali urinska inkontinenca ter senzorične in motorične disfunkcije. Nevrološki zapleti lahko nastanejo po vaginalnem porodu ali po carskem rezu.
