The study is based on the assumption that radio language is dependent on the linguistic and communicative skills of professional presenters, while code-switching is largely dependent on purpose and circumstances. The stratification of media language reflects a need for identification with the language of the surroundings in direct speech, and a need for standard language for wider communication (in reported speech). The article presents the (1) morphological and (2) lexical features typical of the regional vernacular displayed by the broadcasters at both radio stations (according to Slovenski pravopis/the Slovene Orthographic Manual 2001)</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek prinaša rezultate študije govorjenega korpusa programa nacionalne radijske postaje Radio Maribor in komercialne Radio City (Maribor). V prispevku so predstavljeni (1) oblikoslovni in (2) besedijski elementi pokrajinskega pogovornega jezika, prisotni pri poklicnih govorcih obeh radijskih postaj (v primerjavi s Slovenskim pravopisom 2001)</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-HZSKPVUI"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-HZSKPVUI" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HZSKPVUI/dc330744-dea4-4e84-a046-fcac1dce2619/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HZSKPVUI/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HZSKPVUI" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
