Average one-way distance of transportation is 24 kilometres. 80 percent of skilled-technical workers also use their own means of transport, the vehicles that they own. For that purpose, the workers are compensated in the amount of half of the allowance for traveling expenses otherwise recognized for the use of their own vehicles.The expenses accounted per person for all the workers in immediate wood production using the vehicles owned by the company are 40 percent higher as they would have been for them by using their own vehicles. Advantages of the organized transportation with company owned vehicles can hardly overweighthigher expenses. Total expenses of transport in immediate wood production for all the workers make five to six percent of market value of production of forest assortments"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prevoz ljudi na delovišče in nazaj je v gozdni proizvodnji zahteven organizacijski in stroškovni problem. V Sloveniji se 60 % gozdnih delavcev na delo v gozd vozi neposredno od doma. 40 % delavcev se vozi na delo z lastnimi vozili, drugi pa z vozili, ki so last gospodarske družbe. Poprečna prevozna razdalja v eno smer znaša 24 km. Tudi 80 % strokovno-tehniških delavcev uporablja za prevoz v gozd lastna vozila. Za lasten prevoz na delo v gozd dobijo delavci nadomestilo, ki znaša polovico kilometrine. Stroški prevoza vseh delavcev v neposredni gozdni proizvodnji z vozili, ki so last gospodarske družbe, so, preračunano na posameznega delavca, za 40 % višji, kot če delavci uporabljajo lastna vozila. Prednosti kolektivnega prevoza na delo le stežka odtehtajo višje stroške.
