This review article summarises current robotic systems for lower and upper limb rehabilitation in patients after stroke. When choosing a suitable robotic device for a particular patient, it is important to know the main features of the device, the patient's level of functioning and therapeutic goals. Robotic training has a beneficial effect on the motor recovery of upper limb, walking and balance function after stroke, while also reducing the workload of therapists. Whilst the benefit of these technologies over dose-controlled conventional rehabilitation are usually small, there is a role for them as part of a broader rehabilitation programme, where they may help to increase the intensity and amount of therapy delivered. Therefore, robotic devices are still mostly used only as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program and cannot replace the work of therapists</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Rehabilitacijska robotika se v zadnjih dveh desetletjih hitro razvija. Zato se robotske naprave še vedno večinoma uporabljajo le kot del multidisciplinarnega rehabilitacijskega programa in ne morejo nadomestiti dela terapevtov</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-HUD2J66C"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-HUD2J66C" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HUD2J66C/d4943d50-b8d9-4ac7-bb10-ffc5456b68ee/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HUD2J66C/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-HUD2J66C" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
