The hypothesis to be verified is whether the Croatian texts, despite the possible influence of the Slovenian version on them, do not contain (as many) Germanic syntactic structures as the Slovene textsV prispevku so predstavljene jezikovne razlike na skladenjski ravnini v izbranih vsebinsko enakih slovenskih in hrvaških prevodnih besedilih iz katekizmov 16. stoletja: v pridigi o veri v Katekizmu Primoža Trubarja (1550) in v hrvaški latinični priredbi Štefana Konzula (1564) ter kranjskem in hrvaškem prevodu (domnevno Matije Vlačića Ilirika) šolskega katekizma Sebastijana Krelja v Otročji bibliji (1566).
