Defining outsourcing as indirect (triangular) hiring of the workforce (including a self-employed person who as an entrepreneur hires himself or herself as a wage worker), we undertook the historical and theoretical examination of the problem. Findings show, firstly, that the indirect hiring of the workforce was a significant factor in organising labour processes throughout the history of capitalism and is growing in importance lately. Secondly, the essential outcome for workers engaged in "contracting" is that they are separated not only from the means of production but also from the labour market as they have access to the labour market only through "contractors". This finally means that there is no labour market, but there is a labour power trafficking. We argue that the concept of "private labour markets" manage to comprehend the multitude of precarious labour forms among journalists (as well as among other groups) and open up the contemporary problem of labour power trafficking</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Kampanje proti podizvajalstvu in lažnemu samozaposlovanju med novinarji so opozorile na širjenje oblik dela po pogodbah civilnega prava.
