Both of these theoretical premises are with the help of structured and semi-structured interviews applied to a case study of the cultural, potentially economic, political, and social transformation of specific local, territorial, and cultural identities in the town of Idrija, Slovenia, as a geographically remote and delineated "hill" town with a specific cultural, natural, and technical (industrial) tradition and heritage. The value of its very specific heritage was recognized by its successful inscription in 2012 to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites as an example of institutional and symbolic global proximity and presence</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Članek izhaja iz dveh trditev: prvič, zaščita lokalnih identitet in dediščine kot metode za ohranjanje ali celo spodbujanje lokalne (in tudi nacionalne) kohezije v kontekstu izzivov globalizacije je smiselna in upravičena samo pod pogojem, če je kulturna dediščina zgrajena na podlagi multikulturnosti ter prepletenosti in interakcije med različnimi lokalnimi življenjskimi svetovi; drugič, (re)konstruirane lokalne (teritorialne) kulture in identitete ne morejo biti v popolnosti zajete z binarnimi in poenostavljenimi definicijami "starih" in "novih" lokalizmov. Poleg tega je v Idriji sedež nadnacionalnega podjetja z globalno proizvodnjo in trženjem na strateških svetovnih trgih</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2K7GN02"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2K7GN02" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2K7GN02/f83fe2db-3750-430e-abfa-76fd8ce058ff/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2K7GN02/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2K7GN02" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
