The article highlights data colonialism and the related issue of data ownership. Data is often referred to as the new gold or the new oil, and the authors address the questions of who owns data and the ways in which it can be appropriated. In addition, the article also tackles questions such as who can access data and under what conditions, and outlines how data relations are defined in an age where virtually all aspects of individual and social life are commodified. The article also explores the possible avenues for resistance and whether historical experiences can help us identify them. Special attention is given to minorities, whose position in the data age can be rethought through concepts such as data inequality, data inclusion, data justice and data activism. In this context, open data can be viewed as an important building block of open science, allowing the research community to achieve more visibility and greater representation of all minorities. Kako so opredeljeni podatkovni odnosi v dobi, ko so praktično vsi vidiki posameznikovega in družbenega življenja poblagovljeni? Kakšne so možnosti za odpor in kako nam lahko pri tem pomagajo zgodovinske izkušnje? Posebno pozornost bomo namenili manjšinam, katerih položaj v dobi podatkov bomo premislili s koncepti, kot so podatkovna neenakost, podatkovna vključenost, podatkovna pravičnost in podatkovni aktivizem. Odprte podatke vidimo kot enega od pomembnih gradnikov odprte znanosti, s katerim lahko raziskovalna skupnost prispeva k večji zastopanosti vseh manjšin. Da bi dosegli podatkovno pravičnost, je tudi v znanosti potreben premislek o podatkovnih prijemih</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2JBBTZQ"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2JBBTZQ" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2JBBTZQ/4f59a32b-18c8-43ff-8f77-3751f8f6c837/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Študentska založba</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2JBBTZQ/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-H2JBBTZQ" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
